Services may vary depending on the property type, operational requirements, staffing availability, contractual agreements, and applicable laws or regulations.
3. Service Agreements and Contracts
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, service agreements are established for a one-year term and may be renewable upon mutual agreement between both parties.
In certain situations, Proactive Control Security may provide short-term or temporary service agreements depending on the client’s operational needs, event duration, staffing availability, or project scope.
All contracts, proposals, schedules, and service terms are subject to review, approval, and execution by both parties.
4. Billing and Payment Terms
Proactive Control Security invoices clients on a bi-weekly billing cycle based on the assigned service start period. Each billing period closes on a Sunday.
Invoices are issued in advance to help clients maintain active and uninterrupted security services. Payment is due on the following business day unless otherwise stated in the service agreement or invoice.
Clients are provided a seven-day grace period from the invoice due date to submit payment without penalty.
Any unpaid balance remaining after the grace period may be subject to a late payment fee of three percent (3%) for each additional seven-day period, up to the maximum amount permitted by applicable law.
If payment remains outstanding for an unreasonable period of time, Proactive Control Security reserves the right to immediately suspend, reduce, or terminate services until the account is brought current or other written arrangements are approved by the company.
5. Cancellations and Termination
Clients may request cancellation of services by providing a minimum thirty-day written notice prior to the intended cancellation date.
Cancellation requests must include a valid reason for termination of services.
Proactive Control Security reserves the right to review the request, coordinate transition procedures, recover outstanding balances, and ensure proper operational closure before services are discontinued.
Proactive Control Security also reserves the right to terminate services for nonpayment, breach of contract, unsafe working conditions, illegal activity, harassment toward employees, or circumstances that compromise the safety, integrity, or operations of the company or its personnel.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information regarding their property, operations, staffing needs, access procedures, operational risks, emergency contacts, and any conditions that may affect security services.
Clients agree to cooperate with Proactive Control Security personnel and provide reasonable access, communication, and operational coordination necessary to perform services effectively.
7. No Guarantee of Prevention
While Proactive Control Security operates with a prevention-focused approach designed to deter incidents and improve safety, no security service can guarantee the complete prevention of criminal activity, accidents, losses, damages, or unauthorized acts.
Security services are intended to reduce risk through visible presence, monitoring, reporting, access management, and professional response procedures.
